Bright + cheerful summer wedding at Red Barn Farm
Ella + Sam’s relationship spanned an entire ocean soon after they met, and they’ve traveled together to many states, so it was extra sweet that they got married in Sam’s hometown (and my current hometown!) of Northfield, MN at the local pizza farm. How cool?? Red Barn Farm transforms from a family-friendly pizza farm during the week to a gorgeous wedding venue with a stunning ceremony location, plenty of cozy outdoor spaces to mingle, and a very newly built modern reception barn.
This couple wanted an elevated romantic vibe that was also colorful and fun (exactly how I’d describe Ella, no coincidence there!) so we used a mix of soft pastel tones of peach, pink, and blue with brighter shades of yellow and salmon to pop. We also incorporated vining greenery throughout the ceremony and reception spaces to really up the romance.
It downpoured off and on all day (even delaying the outdoor ceremony by 30 minutes!) but that never dulled Ella + Sam’s glow. Their joy was infectious, radiating throughout the entire day. Cheers to the happy couple!
